Icon2Image Publisher Description

Icon2Image is a utility for:

Creating image thumbnails of file, folder and disk icons in various image formats.
Adding custom icons to image or movie files.
Making ICNS icons of image file contents or a movie poster frame.
Making ICNS icons of file, folder and disk icons.
Making images from ICNS files.

This functionality is available as either a command line tool or contextual menu in the Finder. An accompanying system preference pane enables you to configure various options such as the background color or sizes of generated images.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
Whats new:
Version 1.2.2: Added an option to the preference pane to place the generated image file in the same folder as the item whose icon you are imaging, rather than the Icon2Image folder. The previous version broke the ability to process multiple files at once (by selecting multiple files in the Finder.) This has been fixed.
